Remove the grapes from the cluster, wash, and pat dry. Cut half of the grapes into halves horizontally, and the remaining half of the grapes horizontally and vertically into fourths. Divide the cream cheese blocks into 6 pieces each.
2
Add the flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder in a bowl, then mix with a whisk (A). In a separate bowl, add eggs, milk, canola oil, and lemon juice, then mix. Pour the emulsified mixture into the center of A and lightly stir starting from the outer edge. Add the grapes cut into fourths into the mixture and lightly stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened.
3
Fill muffin tins halfway with the batter from (step) 2, top with a piece of cream cheese, then pour the remaining batter on top. Lastly, place the halved grapes and a piece of cream cheese on top.
4
Preheat the oven to 190°C and bake for 20–25 minutes.
Of course, we recommend eating richly sweet Takao as is, but their delicious taste can also be fully enjoyed when used as an ingredient in baked sweets. The impact of large Takao grapes add a unique and sophisticated accent to baked sweets, so be sure and give it a try.
