Peach compote with mint
A few mint leaves
Half a lemon
Mineral water (suitable amount)
Sugar to taste
Pour a small amount of mineral water into a pot, adding sugar and fresh-squeezed lemon juice to taste. Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and add 3–4 mint leaves. Cover and let steam for a minute or so to make the syrup.
Place peach slices into a glass jar or similar container.
Remove the mint leaves from the cooled syrup and add it to the container. Stir gently.
