Rice

The most crucial period for growing high-quality rice is from July to September, when the ears form and the grains begin to develop. Fukushima has significant daily temperature swings around this time, with hot, sunny days and relatively cool nights. This distinctive climate is one of the secrets behind its exceptional rice. Other key factors for delicious rice are pure water and rich soil, which Fukushima growers have been carefully nurturing for generations.
